Volunteering

While there are many ways to support the mission of Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS), one of the most significant is to serve as a volunteer on a campus philanthropy committee.

Campus Philanthropy Committees
The vision of the OPRS Foundation philanthropy committees is to enrich the lives of residents in our retirement communities and nurture a philanthropic environment. Local committees are made up of residents and non-residents active on campus and/or in the surrounding communities. One member of each philanthropy committee is selected to attend the statewide Campus Fundraising Council, a Foundation advisory group that gives a comprehensive perspective on campus-based fundraising efforts.
Campus Philanthropy Committee members meet regularly and team with the local Gift Planning Director on the following objectives:

  • Effective communication and educational programs
  • Advocacy and networking
  • Prospect identification and cultivation
  • Participation in donor recognition activities
