About the OPRS Foundation

Thank you for visiting the Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS) Foundation Web site. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to generate financial support for the mission of OPRS and those we serve.

All indications show that great challenges lie ahead for Ohio’s senior citizens. Beginning in 2010, Ohio’s Baby Boom generation will retire. People 65 and older will comprise 19.6 percent of the state’s population by 2025. Already, we’ve seen an impact on the demand for our services at both ends of the spectrum: retirees who want to sustain their independence for as long as possible and the frail elderly, many of whom are afflicted with Alzheimer’s or other dementias.

We need to be ready. And we will be – with your help. We welcome the opportunity to assist you as you explore your philanthropic endeavors.
