Donor Centered | Mission Driven
Since 1922 when Moses Russell and his sisters donated their farms to create what became Dorothy Love Retirement Community, every resident and client has benefited from private gifts. Many of our donors are carrying on a tradition of giving started by family members generations ago.
Whether earmarked for a specific purpose or for general support, private generosity continues to make the critical difference. It's the reason why we can offer essential services, such as wellness programs, that are not revenue-generators; bridge the gap between what government support covers and what care actually costs; continually improve our facilities; keep care affordable; provide opportunities for spiritual growth; and weather both economic downturns and state and federal cutbacks.
